My Work Station

My Work Station. For my initial entry, I opted to post my Work Station while overseas here in Australia. To those who still do not know me I am the UT-Man a veteran OFW and part time blogger, I run the successful Overseas Pinoy Cooking, a Pinoy food blog. I do have also a couple of other blogs, Pinoy Home Cooking and Recipes, a photo food blog and my travel blog Overseas Pinoy Travels. I admit that my other blogs are not updated regularly, it is not that I do not have material to post but it is because I am most of the time overwhelmed with my work. However I do assure every one that I will soon try to post regularly, for now I have to squeeze in post in between my work.

I do all my work with a my laptop, at present I own an Alienware M14X. The aliemware is now the fourth laptop that a have used since I started to blog. My first laptop was the first generation HP dv1000, It was however replaced by the diminutive Dell XPS M1210 which served as my mobile work station when Overseas Pinoy Cooking started to picked-up, because I was also using the tiny laptop for my work, it did not last long , the motherboard died. I replaced the XPS M1210 with an HP Envy 14. I was not happy with the performance of the Envy 14, after using it for a year I again replaced it with the Alienware M14X which to date I have no complaints, I used it as my alternate work laptop but I am using it mostly on my blogging and gaming.

The latest addition to my work station is a SFF (small form factor) desktop PC, a Maingear Potenza SS. It is my first purchased of a blogging related desktop PC which is part of a planned technology based business venture.

What to expect with this Gadget and Gismo?

I will be mostly posting gadgets and gismos that are of interest to a regular OFW like myself. Being a gadget fanatic myself I believed I could share some insight or perhaps some kind of review of gadgets that may be of interest to an OFW, overseas Pinoy or to every Pinoy back home. Topics will definitely start from the above list and some items that I have but not in the list. I will also try to post items that that are new in the market. Of course post will not be limited to physical products, expect posts on techy subjects, events, ect.
